Reykjavík leadership seminar

Capacity building and sharing of best practices for Nordic youth organisations

Join us at the Reykjavík Leadership Seminar on the 18th-21st of May 2023 and strengthen your personal leadership skills, share experiences and best practices - and become even better at empowering young people in your organisation.

The seminar is a platform for members of Nordic youth organisations to network across countries and thereby strengthen their own work and that of others.

We are looking for participants aged 18-30 who are affiliated to a youth organisation.

Deadline to apply is the 12th of April at 12:00 (noon)

The seminar is based on the Icelandic National Youth Council's (LUF) Leadership Academy, whose main themes are human rights, democracy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in practice.

Capacity building

We will share best practices and learn more about how to empower young people and the work of our organisations.

Together, we will contribute to the development of a Nordic toolkit for capacity building, which will be available to all Nordic youth organisations.

Reykjavík

We will also have time to get to know each other and explore Reykjavík and the neighbouring areas.

Practical framework

You will be informed whether you have been accepted as a participant by the 20th April at the latest.

We will then contact you to organise the final details of your participation.

We provide transport, food and a place to sleep during the activity.

Accommodation in Reykjavík is at KEX Hostel, where we will sleep in six-person rooms.
