The Nordic Youth Seminar 2025 is your chance to share experiences, build partnerships, and empower youth in the fight for a sustainable future 🌿
Join us and meet 90 young people from across the Nordic region for a weekend seminar packed with workshops, exciting sessions, and social activities.
The seminar is for those aged 18-30 who are part of a youth organization and engaged in climate and biodiversity.
No prior experience is required – we have designed a program that suits all levels, and we know from experience that great things happen when we come together across different backgrounds!
We will dive into three main areas 🤝
- Partnerships and projects
- Knowledge and experience sharing
- Nordic culture and friendships
Collaboration makes us smarter and stronger, and it opens new doors!

The fund supports initiatives where young people across the Nordic region come together around climate or biodiversity agendas.
The deadline for the second and final application round is March 3, 2025.

Practical framework
You will be informed no later than January 3rd about whether you have secured a spot at the seminar.
We will contact you to organize the final details regarding your participation.
The project covers the costs of transportation, food, and accommodation
We will arrange transportation, food, and accommodation in connection with the activity.
The seminar will be held in Skåne from Friday, February 7th at 5:00 PM to Sunday, April 9th at 3:00 PM. The exact location will be announced later.
Transportation
You can either purchase your transportation yourself and have the costs reimbursed afterward, or we can purchase it for you.
If you buy your own tickets, it's important that you consider the financial, climate, and environmental costs, stay within the specified budget, and ensure your travel aligns with participating in the entire program.
Please also remember to send your reimbursement request to nord@duf.dk no later than March 9th, 2025.
Accommodation
Most participants will stay in shared rooms with multiple attendees. By default, room assignments will be based on the gender indicated in the application form.
We take special needs, disabilities, etc., into consideration
We would like to know if you require special accommodations, facilities, or equipment (hearing aids, translation, mobility disabilities, anxiety, etc.).
